32 - Hay l~ 1986 Ron Carroll Ron Carroll Auction Company 2822 #A L. B. J. San Marcos, 'IX 78666 ~ar Mr. Carroll: This letter shall serve as the agreement between you and the City of San Marcos. You will provide professional auctioneer services at the City Shop and at City Park on June 7, 1986 at times to be decided by you. The City will arrange vehicles at the shop and other merchandise at City park under your direction. The City will provide a cashier and $100 cash at the designated tirœs and places. The City will provide signed titles to the vehicles on the day of the auction. You will provide the advertising for the auction for which the City will reimburse you a sum not to exceed $500. You will provide forms for triplicate receipts to be used at the auction. One copy goes to the buyer, one to the City and one to the auction company. At the end of sale you will take the proceeds to the bank where your escrow account is. On or before June 9 you will deposit the money in your escrow account and send the City a copy of the deposit slip. On or before June 16 you will remi t to the City a check equal to the gross proceeds less 10%. The proceeds of the auction will be protected by a sufficient bond under Texas license number TXSO170356 (expiration date January 28, 1987) maintained by you and approved by the City Attorney. You will take full responsibility for all checks accepted by you from bidders and will secure the City from any losses incurred from the acceptance of bad checks.
