RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -151 ta) R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH PERDUE, <br />BRANDON, FIELDER, COLLINS & MOTT, L.L.P. TO COLLECT <br />DELINQUENT MUNICIPAL COURT FINES, FEES, COURT COSTS, <br />AND OTHER DEBTS PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 103.0031 OF THE <br />TEXAS CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS.) <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Contract for Court Fines and Fees Collections Services <br />between the City of San Marcos and Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott, L.L.P. (the <br />"Contract ") is hereby approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the Contract on behalf of the <br />City. <br />PART 3. This Resolution shall be effective upon the City Council's adoption on <br />second reading of an ordinance authorizing the collection of delinquent Municipal Court fines, <br />fees, court costs, and other debts pursuant to Article 103.0031 of the Texas Code of Criminal <br />Procedure. <br />ADOPTED on November 6, 2013. <br />Attest: <br />City <br />D iel Guerrero <br />Mayor <br />
