RESOLUTION 2013- 158(a0R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AWARDING A MULTI -YEAR CONTRACT TO EBR ENTERPRISES <br />FOR THE REMOVAL OF INVASIVE RIPARIAN VEGETATION AND <br />ELEPHANT EARS IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $199,924.75 CONTINGENT <br />UPON THE BIDDER'S TIMELY SUBMISSION OF SUFFICIENT INSURANCE <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S BID DOCUMENTS AND THE <br />EDWARDS AQUIFER AUTHORITY'S CONTINUED ALLOCATION OF <br />FUNDING TO THE CITY THROUGH THE AQUIFER HABITAT <br />CONSERVATION PLAN PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The award of a contract to EBR Enterprises located in Cypress, Texas for <br />the Removal of Invasive Riparian Vegetation and Elephant Ears (IFB #213 -289) in the amount of <br />$199,924.75 for five one year periods is approved contingent upon the bidder's timely <br />submission of sufficient insurance in accordance with the City's bid documents and the Edwards <br />Aquifer Authority's continued allocation of funding to the City through the Aquifer Habitat <br />Conservation Plan Program. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager is authorized to execute appropriate purchasing <br />documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
