<br /> vJHEREAS, the City Counc il of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br /> provided an oppxtunity for all interested persons to be heard at
<br /> two ( 2) public hearings, held once on May 12,1986 , and once
<br /> on May 13,1986 , to consider the proposed annexation by the City
<br /> of San ~1arcos, Texas, of 121.2121 acres out of the Edward Burleson
<br /> Survey, Abstract No. 63, the John R. King ~urvey, Abstract No. 270, the
<br /> Henry 1i\larnell Survey, Abstract No. 492, the t~7illiam H. Van Horn
<br /> Survey, Abstract No. 464, and the Samuel Craft Survey, Abstract No.
<br /> H-89, Hays County, Texas, and being a strip of land 500.00 feet
<br /> wide and 10,560.00 feet long contiguous along its northeast line to the
<br /> southwest line of that 108.8490 acre parcel annexed by the City of
<br /> San Marcos by Ordinance No. 1985-48, the center line of
<br /> which parcel lies along the centerline of Interstate Highway
<br /> No. 35, Hays County, Texas, and being more particularly
<br /> described by rœtes and bounds as follows:
<br /> This 121.2121 acre parcel is shown on a plat of a survey dated
<br /> 28 January 1986 by Charles R. SWart, Surveyor, and is rrore
<br /> particularly described by metes and bounds in the following
<br /> paragraphs. The aluminum capped iron monument cited at points
<br /> 180, 181, 184, and 185 is a 5/8 inch diameter iron bar, 30
<br /> inches long, with a 2 inch diameter aluminum cap marked

<br /> the accompanying plat. The aluminum capped iron rronument cited
<br /> at points 147 and 148 is a 5/8 inch diameter iron bar, 24 inches
<br /> long, with a 11/2 inch diameter aluminum cap, set to mark the
<br /> southwest line of the 108.8490 acre tract, and marked
<br /> SAN MARCOS

<br /> Beginning at the point of intersection of the southwest line of
<br /> the said 108.8490 acre parcel with the centerline of Interstate

<br /> southwest line of the 108.8490 acre parcel and the northeast
<br /> line of this 121.2121 acre parcel a distance of 145.00 feet to a
