<br />~ AN O:RDINANCE OF 'IRE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />N MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINM1CE ~ÆICH
<br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF EUIIDINGS,
<br />STRUCTIJRES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY
<br />CHANGING 'IRE ZONING OF LOT 30 OF 'IRE CITY VIEW
<br />ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS
<br />AS SHam ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 129,
<br />PAGE 363 OF THE HAYS mUNTY DEED RECORDS, A/K/A 1107
<br />GRAVEL STREET, FROM IIMF-4" (MULTI- FAMILY DISTRICT) 10
<br />"R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY lliELLING DISTRICT): AND DECLARING AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on April 1, 1986, the Zoning Commission of the City of
<br />San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the
<br />zoning from "MF-4" (Multi-Family District) to IIR-l" (Single
<br />Family Dwelling District) of lot 30 of the City View Addition,
<br />a subdivision in said City: and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />ComnQssion did, on April 1, 1986, consider said request and
<br />voted to approve the same and has recormnended that such request be
<br />approved by the City Council of said City: and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the 9 day
<br />of June, 1986, regarding such request: and,
<br />
<br />vJHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos
<br />pertaining to arnendments have been net: and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety: now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />loca ted in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned
<br />"MF-411 (Multi-family District) henceforth shall be rezoned IIR-llI
<br />(Single Family Dwelling District):
<br />
<br />IDT 30 OF THE CITY VIEW ADDITION, A 3JBDIVISION IN THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS AS SHam ON THE l'-lAP OR PLAT THEREOF
<br />RECORDED IN VOLUME 129, PAGE 363 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED
<br />RECORDS.
<br />
<br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days
<br />from and after its passage and after it has been subject to
<br />reconsideration by the Council at its next regular neeting following
<br />its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider
<br />it. If reconsidered on June 23, 1986, it shall be in effect ten
<br />days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not
<br />go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered or if reconsidered and
<br />approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in
<br />the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.

<br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the 9 day of June, 1986 ,
<br />subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council neeting
<br />scheduled for June 23, 1986 .
