<br /> FAIR HOUSING ACTIVITIES <br /> The City of San Marcos passed a Fair Housing Ordinance on April <br /> 26t 1976. As a result a Fair Housing Commission was established <br /> by the City to accept notification and referral of complaints of <br /> alleged discriminatory housing practices. <br /> A Community Housing Resource Board was established to månitor <br /> a voluntary Fair Housing Marketing Agreement with the local <br /> Board of Realtors. <br /> The City hast by proclamation, proclaimed April as Fair Housing <br /> Month in San Marcos. <br /> The Director of the San Marcos Housing Authority serves as <br /> secretary to the Fair Housing Commission and is the Chairperson <br /> of the Community Housing Resource Board. The City supports the <br /> Housing Authority with annual budget line. <br /> The City of San Marcos assures that it will affirmatively <br /> further fair housing practices within the City in the years to <br /> come. <br />
