<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH
<br /> REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS,
<br /> STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY
<br /> ZONING LOT 1, BLOCK 1 OF THE GIESECKE ADDITION BEING 0.448
<br /> ACRES MORE OR LESS OUT OF THE J. M. 'JERAMEND I SURVEY *2
<br /> A-I?, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, A
<br /> SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AS SHOWN ON THE
<br /> MAP OR PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 4, PAGE 160, OF THE
<br /> HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS; A/KIA 1115 HIGHWAY 80 FROM "PD"
<br /> (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTIRCT) TO "OP" (OFFICE PROFESSIONAL
<br /> DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on ApI" i 1 1, 1986, the Zoning Commission of the City of
<br />San Marcos held a publ ic hearing regarding a request to change the
<br />zoning from "PD" (Pre-Development District> to "OP" (Off i ce
<br />Professional District) of Lot 1, Block 1 of the Giesecke Addition being
<br />0.448 Acres more or less out of the J.M. Veramendi Survye #2 A-I?, San
<br />Marcos, Hays County, Texas; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said pub 1 ic hearing on said date, said
<br />Comm i ss ion did, on ApI" i 1 1, 1986, consider said request
<br />and voted to approve the same and has recommended that such request
<br />be approved by the Ci ty Counc i 1 of sa.i d Ci h; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council held a publ ic hearing on the 14 day
<br />of July, 1986, regarding such request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the Ci ty of San t1arcos
<br />pertaining to amendments have b~ ;et; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Ci ty Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the pub 1 i ~
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO~~CIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECT! ON 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />1 oca ted in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which was classified "PD"
<br />(Pre-Development District) upon its annexation to the City of San
<br />Marcos on November 24, 1980, henceforth shall be zoned as "OP" (Office
<br />Professional District).
<br /> LOT 1, BLOCK 1 OF THE GIESECKE ADDITION BEING 0.448 ACRES MORE OR
<br /> LESS OUT OF THE J. M. 'JERAMEND I SURVEY *2 A-1?, CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF
<br /> SAN MARCOS AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN
<br /> VOLUME 4, PAGE 160, OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS.
<br /> SECT! ON 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days
<br />from and after its passage and after it has been subject to
<br />reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following
<br />its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider
<br />it. If reconsidered on July 28, 1986 it shall be in effect ten
<br />days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not
<br />go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered or if reconsidered and
<br />approved it shall be publ ished in a newspaper of general circulation in
<br />the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
<br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the 14 day of July, 1986 ,
<br />subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting
<br />scheduled for July 28, 1986 .
