<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, A"'1END ING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (NAP)
<br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 5.6234 ACRES
<br /> OF LAND (244,953 SQUARE FEET) BEING THE SAME LAND CALLED
<br /> THE SECOND TRACT IN A CONVEYANCE FROM A.B. ROGERS AND
<br /> WILL G. BARBER TO EDWIN C. WILLIS, VOLUME 107, PAGE 130,
<br /> DEED RECORDS, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, T.H.W. FORSYTH SURVEY,
<br /> HAYS COUNTY, T~~S, BEING LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
<br /> THE 1700 BLOCK OF RANCH ROAD 12, FR0I'1 LOW DENSITY
<br /> RESIDENTIAL TO CDI"'.r'1ERCIAL; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
<br /> DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on ApI" ¡I 15, 1986, the Joint Phnn i ng and
<br /> Zoning Commissions of the Ci ty of San Marcos held a publ ic hearing
<br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the
<br /> t1aster Plan from Low Dens ¡ ty Residential to Commercial
<br /> for 5.6234 acres of 1 and (244,953 square feet) in the T.H.W.
<br /> Forsyth Survey, Hays County, Texas; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said publ ic hearing on said date, said
<br /> Commissions did, on April 15, 1986, consider said request and
<br /> voted to approve the same and have recommended that such request be
<br /> approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the 14 day
<br /> of July, 1986, regarding such request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br /> amendments have been met; and,
<br /> I,~HEREAS, said Ci ty Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the publ ic
<br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That that property more particularly described in
<br /> Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all
<br /> purposes, located on the south side of the 1700 block of Ranch Road 12,
<br /> San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future
<br /> Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City of San ~1arcos as
<br /> LOI..... Dens i ty Residential shall be shown on said map as Commercial:
<br /> PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br /> ~. Dm and after its passage.
<br /> ADOPTED this 14 day of July ~\86.
