<br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 3.942 ACRES
<br /> CONSISTING OF THE FOLLOWING TRACTS: TRACT 2; 0,90
<br /> ACRES BEING THAT PORTION OF BLOCK 1, OF THE D.S. COMBS
<br /> ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN t1ARCOS, TEXAS, A SUBDIVISION
<br /> IN THE CITY OF SAN t1ARCOS; TRACT 3: 3.15 ACRES
<br /> CONSISTING OF 8 TRACTS, ALL OF SAI D TRACTS BEING A
<br /> PORTION OF FARM LOT 12; SAID TRACTS BEING LOCATED IN
<br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS ALONG BOTH SIDES
<br /> OF THE 600 AND 700 BLOCKS OF WEST SAN ANTONIO STREET,
<br /> FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO LOW DENSITY
<br /> RESIDENTIAL; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on February 18, 1986, the Joint Plann i ng "r¡d
<br /> Zoning Commissions of the Ci ty of San Marcos held a public hearing
<br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the
<br /> t1aster Plan from Medium Dens i ty Residential to Lot.., Den.s i ty
<br /> Residential for two tracts consisting of the fall owi ng tracts:
<br /> Tract 1: 0.90 acres being a portion of Block 1, of the D.S. Combs
<br /> Addition, a subdivision in the City of San Marcos; Tract 2: 3,15 ¡-es
<br /> consisting of 8 tracts, all of said tracts being a portion of Farm
<br /> Lot 12; both of said tracts being located in the City of San Marcos,
<br /> Hays County, Texas; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said publ ic hearing on said date, said
<br /> Commissions did, on February 18, 1986, consider said request and
<br /> voted to approve the same and have recommended that such request be
<br /> approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council held a publ ic hearing on the 14 day
<br /> of July , 1986, regarding such request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertai n i ng to
<br /> amendment haue been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Ci ty Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the follol/Jing resolution is in the ¡ tûrest of the public
<br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the following described b'rlcts of real proper ty
<br /> located along both sides of the 600 and 700 Blocks of West San Antonio
<br /> Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which ¡ in an area shown on
<br /> the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City of San
<br /> Marcos as Medium Dens i ty Residential shall be shown on said map as
<br /> Low Density Residential:
