CQ'I.1FOS, DECEASED, 1D JULIAN RIVERA, BY DEED <br /> DA Till NOVFMBER 13, 1920, AND RECORDED IN \iOLUME 79, <br /> PAGES 623-624, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, A/KIA 201,203, <br /> AND 205 GROVE STREET, AND 500 AND 502 HULL STREET, FROM <br /> 11 ill" (IDW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) TO "I" (INDUSTRIAL) <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFErTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the Joint Planning and Zoning Commissions of the <br /> City of San ~Brcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend <br /> the Future Land Use Plan (Nap) of the ~.1aster Plan from IDw Cens i ty <br /> Residential to Industrial for Tract 1 and Tract 2 located in <br /> the J.M. Veramendi League No. 1 in said City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on January 21, <br /> 1986, said Commissions did consider said request and the Planning <br /> Commission voteo to approve the same and has recommended that such <br /> request be approved by the City Council of said Ci ty, and the <br /> Zoning Commission voted to deny the request and has recorrmended that <br /> such request be denied by the City Council of said City~ and, <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the 14 rlay <br /> of July ,1986, regarding such request; and, <br /> vilHERF'.AS, all requirements of the ~1aster Plan pertaining to <br /> amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT REffiLVill BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. 'Ihat the following described tracts of real <br /> property located In San ~.1arcos, Hays County, Texas, which are in an <br /> area shovllî on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the <br /> Ci ty 0 f San Marcos as IDw Density Residential shall be shown on <br /> said map as Industrial: <br /> TRACT 1: <br /> 0.50 of an acre of land in the J.M. Veramendi League No. One (1) <br /> in the City of S:m Marcos, Hays County, Texas, being that tract <br /> of land described as 'Ihird Tract as conveyed to Max C. Snith, et <br /> al., by O.C. Smith and Company, Inc. by deed dated July 31, <br /> 1969, and recorded in Volume 232, Page 149, Hays County Deed <br /> Records. <br /> BEGINNIJ\G at an iron stake set at the Northwest corner of a <br /> metal building for the Northwest corner of the tract herein <br /> described, same being in the East line of that 5.426 acre tract <br /> of land conveyed to H. Garland Stokes by the First City National <br /> Bank of Houston by deed dated November 28, 1967, and recorded in <br /> Volwne 263, page 151, Hays County Ceed Records, and in the South <br /> line of Grove Street, as recognized and used upon the ground, <br /> and from which iron stake the Northeast corner of the said <br /> Stokes tract bears N 9°54' W. 50.43 feet; <br /> THENCE, leaving the Stokes tract, with the North side of the <br /> said metal building, and the South line of Grove Street, as <br />
