<br /> 75 <br /> ORDINANCE 1986-81 <br /> ::r <br /> ~ <br /> ""7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING THE OAK <br /> HEIGHTS LIVE OAK TREE AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK, <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the Oak Heights <br /> Live Oak Tree located in the 500 block of Franklin Drive: <br /> 1. Has historical and cultural significance. <br /> 2. Is suitable for preservation. <br /> 3. Has educational value. <br /> SECTION 2. That the Oak Heights Live Oak Tree located in <br /> the 500 blook of Franklin Drive is hereby designated as a historic <br /> landmark. <br /> SECTION 3.
