<br /> b) Wastewater Collection & Treatment System <br /> Jones and Neuse, Inc. has extensive experience in the planning, <br /> design, and construction of wastewater treatment and collection <br /> systems. Specialty services such as modeling to determine treat- <br /> ment levels necessary to maintain water quality requirements, <br /> processing of permits, environmental assessment, construction <br /> management, and operation services are also available. In addi- <br /> tion, Jones and Neuse, Inc. has experience with EPA funded grant <br /> projects since formation of the firm and from experience gained by <br /> key individuals prior to formation of the firm. <br /> Several staff members of Jones and Neuse, Inc. were directly <br /> responsible for administering the federally funded municipal waste- <br /> water facility construction grants program which included the <br /> construction of over 230 wastewater treatment and collection <br /> system projects in excess of 2.0 billion dollars over a seven year <br /> period. The work involved all aspects of design and technical <br /> review as well as construction management and inspection. <br /> A partial listing of wastewater treatment and collection system <br /> projects is presented in Table 2. <br /> c) Environmental Consideration Experience <br /> Jones and Neuse, Inc. has extensive experience in the assessment <br /> of environmental impacts of proposed projects. Environmental <br /> comiiderations are incorporated into all projects planned or <br /> designed by Jones and Neuse, Inc. Many of these projects have <br /> included formal submittals of environmental assesments as part of <br /> the preliminary engineering phase.
