<br /> III. MANAGEMENT PLAN <br /> A. THE PROJECT <br /> The Upper Cottonwood Creek Comprehensive Water and Wastewater Plan as <br /> proposed will consist of population projections, a land use analysis, environ- <br /> mental considerations, water and wastewater inventory, water and wastewater <br /> demand projections and a preliminary plan for providing water and wastewater <br /> system needs including interim and ultimate solutions for providing utility <br /> service to the area. The study area, illustrated in Figure 1, consists of <br /> approximately 15 square miles northwest of IH 35 and on the southeast by a <br /> point on Cottonwood Creek approximately 2 miles below the community of <br /> Redwood. <br /> B. PLAN FOR EXECUTING THE WORK <br /> The proposed comprehensive plan will be performed by a team of planners and <br /> engineers with the primary contractual responsibilities assumed by Jones and <br /> Neuse, Inc., Engineering and Environmental Consultants, 2720 Bee Cave Road, <br /> Austin, Texas. Portions of the comprehensive planning program will be <br /> contracted to Kent S. Butler and Associates, Inc., Urban and Environmental <br /> Planners, 2720 Bee Cave Road, Austin, Texas, Byrn and Associates, Inc., Engi- <br /> neers, Surveyors, 202 S. C.M. Allen Parkway, San Marcos, Texas and Freese <br /> and Nichols, Inc., 314 Highland Mall Blvd., Austin, Te. ,'1S. The scope of <br /> services to be performed is presented in Section IV. <br /> C. KEY PERSONNEL TO BE ASSIGNED TO THE PROJECT <br /> Mr. David Neuse, P.E., Vice-President of Jones and Neuse, Inc., will serve as <br /> project manager. Mr. Neuse has 13 years of civil design and construction <br /> management experience. He has managed numerous projects involving the <br /> JONES ð NEUSE <br /> <br /> 19 <br />
