I <br /> *********** <br /> FIELD NOTES <br /> *********** <br /> A parcel of land containing 0.3621 acre (15,771 square feet) out <br /> of the William Pettus Survey, Caldwell County, Texas, and lying <br /> wholly within the San Marcos Airport, this parcel is shown on a <br /> plat of a survey dated 30 June 1986 by Charles R. Swart, <br /> Surveyor, and is more particularly described by metes and bounds <br /> in the following paragraphs. The aluminum capped iron monument <br /> cited is a 5/8 inch diameter iron bar, 24 inches long, with a 1 <br /> 7/8 inch diameter aluminum cap marked <br /> SAN MARCOS AIRPORT <br /> 1986 <br /> CHARLES R. SWART <br /> SURVEYOR <br /> and with the point number shown on the plat and cited hereon. <br /> Bearings are based on the centerline bearing of State Highway 21 <br /> as shown on the right of way map of the Texas Highway Department <br /> dated 27 March 1937, as the centerline was found marked on the <br /> ground between stations 129 + 53 and 158 + 10. <br /> The point cited as the West Reference Mark is a 3/8 inch diameter <br /> drill hole near the west end of the concrete parking ramp, and <br /> 9.5 feet north of the south edge of the ramp. The point cited as <br /> the East Reference Mark is a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole in the <br /> concrete parking ramp opposite the east legs of the old control <br /> tower, and 9.5 feet from the south edge of the ramp. From the <br /> West Reference Mark, the East Reference Mark bears South 89 <br /> degrees 58 minutes 34 seconds East a distance of 1505.44 feet. <br /> Beginning at the northeast corner of this parcel, which is at the <br /> northeast corner of the concrete foundation of a hangar, now <br /> removed, and from which the West Reference Mark (point 50) bears <br /> North 85 degrees 49 minutes 59 seconds West a distance of 1244.92 <br /> feet, the East Reference Mark (point 51) bears North 71 degrees <br /> 11 minutes 45 seconds East a distance of 278.69 feet, and the <br /> intersection of the centerlinesof runways 4 and 12 (point 204) <br /> bears North 13 degrees 04 minutes 59 seconds East a distance of <br /> 3015.46 feet. This point of beginning is 80.44 feet south of the <br /> south edge of the concrete parking ramp. <br /> Thence, from the point of beginning, South 00 degrees 02.7 <br /> minutes West a distance of 106.00 feet to the southeast corner of <br /> this parcel, which is marked with an aluminum capped iron <br /> monument (point 281); <br /> thence North 89 degrees 57.3 minutes West a distance of 148.79 <br /> feet to the southwest corner of this parcel, which is marked with <br /> an aluminum capped iron monument (point 282); <br /> thence North 00 degrees 02.7 minutes East a distance of 106.00 <br /> feet to the northwest corner of this parcel, which is at the <br /> northwest corner of the said concrete foundation, <br /> thence South 89 degrees 57.3 minutes East along the north line of <br /> the said concrete foundation a distance of 148.79 feet to the <br /> point of beginning. <br /> *********** <br /> STATE OF TEXAS <br /> COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> I, CHARLES R.
