<br /> OF LAND OUT OF THE J.M. VERAt'1END I LEAGUE NO.2, HAYS
<br /> COUNTY, TEXAS BEING A PORTION OF THAT TRACT OF LAND
<br /> DESCRIBED AS TRACT THREE CONVEYED TO JACK F. HARPER ~~D
<br /> MURRAY ri. HARPER BY D.D. l.}ATSON BY DEED DATED
<br /> NOVEMBER 9, 1960, AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 184, PAGE 207,
<br /> HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAME BEING A PORTION OF THAT
<br /> TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED AS TRACT THREE CONVEYED TO
<br /> MURRAY M. HARPER BY JACK F. HARPER BY DEED DATED JUNE 5,
<br /> 1968, AND RECORDED IN \)OLUt1E 224, PAGE 235, HAYS COUNTY
<br /> DEED RECORDS, LOCATED NORTH OF HIGHWAY 80 AND WEST OF
<br /> RIVER ROAD, FROM C~1ERCIAL TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL;
<br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> I..JHEREAS, on riay 20, 1986, the Joint Plann i ng and
<br /> Zoning Commissions of the Ci ty of San Marcos held a publ ic hearing
<br /> regarding a request to amend the Future land Use Plan (Map) of the
<br /> tias ter Plan from Commercial to High Dens i ty Resi dent i al for
<br /> 10.00 acres of 1 and out of the J.M. Veramendi League No. 2, Hays
<br /> County, Texas; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said publ ic hearing on said date, said
<br /> Commissions did, on May 20, 1986, consider said request and
<br /> \Ioted to approve the same and have recommended that such request be
<br /> approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council held a publ ic hearing on the 11 da:/
<br /> of August, 1986, regarding such request; and,
<br /> IAHEREAS, ail requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br /> amendments have been met; and,
<br /> l.~HEREAS, said Ci ty Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the publ ic
<br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO~iCIl OF THE GIrt OF SAN t1ARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the proper ty more particularly descr i bed in
<br /> Exhibits "A" and "B" which are attached hereto and incorporated
<br /> herein for all purposes, located North of Highway 80 and west of
<br /> River Road, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, lAJh i ch is in an area
<br /> shown on the Future land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City
<br /> of San Marcos as Commercial shall be sh OI,-'ln on said map as High
<br /> Density Residential.
<br /> PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br /> from and after its passage.
