<br /> 51 <br /> RESOLUTION 1986-89R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 11. 72 ACRES <br /> OUT OF THE J .t-1. VERAMEND I SURVEY NO.2, HAYS COUNTY, <br /> TEXAS, LOCATED AT 518 AND 520 LINDA LANE, FROM LOW <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> I,.JHEREAS, on May 20, 1986, the Joint Planning and <br /> Zoning Commissions of the Ci ty of San Marcos held a publ ic hearing <br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the <br /> Master Plan from L o~., Dens i ty Residential to High Density <br /> Residential for 11.72 acres out of the J.M. Veramendi League Survey, <br /> Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> I,~HEREAS, subsequent to said publ ic hearing on said date, said <br /> Commissions did, on May 20, 1986, consider said request and <br /> voted to approve the same and have recommended that such request be <br /> approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council held a publ ic hearing on the 11 day <br /> of August, 1986, regarding such request; and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br /> amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said Ci ty Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the property more particularly described in <br /> Exhibits "A" and "B" which are attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> for all purpose$, located at 518 and 520 Linda Lane, San Marcos, Hays <br /> County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan <br /> (Map) of the Master Plan of the Ci ty of San t1arcos as Low <br /> Dens i ty Residential shall be shown on said map as High Density <br /> Residential. <br /> PART 2.
