<br /> CHANGING THE ZONING OF 5.29 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OF LAND
<br /> AREA, IN THE J.M. VERAMENDI SURVEY NO.1, SAN MARCOS, HAYS
<br /> COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF THAT TRACT DESCRIBED AS
<br /> 88.28 ACRES, IN A DEED FROM ISOM H. HALE AND T.L. WEATHERS

<br /> DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> ~IIHEREAS, on Ju l;¥ 1! 1986, the Zoning Commission of the City of
<br /> San Marcos heid a pubi ic hearing regarding a request to change the
<br /> z on i n g from "R-1" (S i n g 1 e F am i 1y Di....¡e 1 ï in 9 District) to "t'1F-4"
<br /> (Multi-Family District) of 5.29 acres, more or less, of land area, in
<br /> the J .t1. Veramendi Survey No.1, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said publ i c hearing on said date, said
<br /> Commission did, on July 1, 1986, consider said request
<br /> and t.!oted to deny the same but recommended that a zoning change to
<br /> MF-3 be approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City CounciT heTd a publ ic hearing on the 25 day
<br /> of August , 1986, regarding such request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br /> Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the Ci ty of San Marcos
<br /> pertaining to amendments have been met; and,
<br /> IAIHEREAS, said Ci ty Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the publ i c
<br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CIr( COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN t1ARCOS , TE::<AS :

<br /> 24.0 acre tract described in a deed from john W. Nigl iazlo and
<br /> Charles E. BlaKe to S.M.C.J.S District dated April 4, 1967 and
<br /> recorded in Volume 217, Page 186 of the Hays County Deed
<br /> Records;
<br /> THENCE with the North 1 ine of the 88.28 acre tract the following
