<br /> REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS,
<br /> STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY
<br /> CHANGING THE ZONING OF 10.74 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OF
<br /> LAND AREA, IN THE J.M. VERAMENDI SURVEY NO.1, SAN MARCOS,
<br /> HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF THAT TRACT
<br /> DESCRIBED AS 88.28 ACRES, IN A DEED FROM ISOM H. HALE AND
<br /> T.L. WEATHERS TO ADVENTIST HEALTH SYSTEM/SUNBELT, INC.

<br /> l.<.IHEREAS , on Ju 1 y 1, 1986, the Zoning Commission of the City of
<br /> San Marcos held a publ ic hearing regarding a request to change the
<br /> zoning from "R-1" (Single Fam i 1 y DI,.,¡e 11 in g District:> to "OP"
<br /> (Office Professional District) of 10.74 acres of land out of
<br /> the J .~1. 'Jeramend i Survey No. 1 in the City of San Marcos, Hays
<br /> County, Texas; and,
<br /> 1.,.iHEREAS, subsequent to said publ i c hearing on said date, said
<br /> Commission did, on Ju 1 y 1, 1986, consider said request and
<br /> voted to approve the same and has recommended that such request be
<br /> approved b:{ the Ci h' Council of said City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council held a pub1 ic hearing on the 25 day
<br /> of August ,1986, regarding such request; and,
<br /> t,JHEREAS, all requirements of Appendi:< A, General Zoning
<br /> Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the Ci ty of San Marcos
<br /> pertaining to amendments have been met; and,
<br /> I;,IHEREAS, said Ci h' Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the publ i c
<br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real pr.operty
<br /> located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, 1,<Jh i ch is presently zoned
<br /> "R-1" (Single Family Dwell ing District) henceforth shall be rezoned
<br /> "OP" (Office Professional District):
