<br /> 101 <br /> RESOLUTION 1986-99R <br /> A RESOLUïION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 51. 5 ACRES <br /> OF LAND OUT OF THE J.M. \JERAMEND I LEAGUE NO.1, HAYS <br /> COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED NORTHEAST OF WŒNDER WORLD DRIVE <br /> ~~D WEST OF HIGHWAY 123, FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> TO COMMERCIAL, OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL, MEDIUM DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL AND HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL; AND DECLARING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on May 20, 1986, the Joint PJanning and <br /> Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a publ ic hearing <br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the <br /> Master Plan from Low Density Residential to Commercial, Office and <br /> Professional, t1ed i um Dens i ty Residential and High Dens i ty <br /> Residential for 51.5 acres of 1 and out of the J.M. Veramendi League <br /> No. 1, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said publ ic hearing on said date, said <br /> Commissions did, on May 20, 1986, consider said request and <br /> 'Joted to approlJe the same and ha~e recommended that such request be <br /> approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> WHERE4S, said City Council held a publ ic hearing on the 11 day <br /> of August, 1986, regarding such request; and, <br /> WHEREAS, a 1 J requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br /> amendments have been met; and, <br /> ¡JHEREAS, said Ci ty Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the publ ic <br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE lï RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the property more particularly described in <br /> Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for <br /> a 11 purposes, 1 oca ted northeast of Wonder l.Jor 1 d Drive and west of <br /> Highway 123, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, l,oIhich is in an area <br /> shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the <br /> City of San Marcos as Low Dens i ty Residential sh a 11 be <br /> shown on said map as Cammerc i".l, Off i ce and Professional, Med i um <br /> Dens i ty Residential and High Density Residential as more particuJariy <br /> shown on said Exhibit "B". <br /> PART 2.
