<br />20 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1986-103R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 10.893 ACRES <br />OF LAND OUT OF THE THOMAS G. MCGEHEE LEAGUE, ABSTRACT 11 <br />AND ALSO BEING OUT OF A TRACT CALLED 11.01 ACRES <br />DESCRIBED IN VOLUME 526, PAGE 494, HAYS COUNTY DEED <br />RECORDS, LOCATED ON THE WEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION <br />OF HIGHWAY 21 AND COUNTY ROAD 159 (YARRINGTON ROAD), <br />FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on t1ay 20, 1986, the Jo i n t P 1 ann i ng and <br />Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a publ ic hearing <br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the <br />Master Plan from High Density Residential to Commercial for 10.893 <br />acres of 1 and ou t of the Thomas G. t1cGehee League, Abstrac t 11, <br />Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said publ ic hearing on <br />Commissions did, on May 20, 1986, consider said <br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that <br />approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> <br />sa i d da te, sa i d <br />request and <br />such request be <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a publ ic hearing on the <br />of August, 1986, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />11 day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the foll~~ing resolution is in the interest of the publ ic <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the property more particularly described in <br />Exhibits "A" and "B" which are attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />for all purposes, located on the west corner of the intersection of <br />Highway 21 and County Road 159 (Yarrington Road), San Marcos, Hays <br />County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan <br />(Map) of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as High Density <br />Residential shall be shown on said map as Commercial. <br /> <br />PART 2.
