<br />WHEREAS! on August 5, 1986, the Zoning Commission of the City
<br />of San Marcos held a publ ic hearing regarding a request to
<br />zone previously unzaned property to a zoning designation of .PD"
<br />(Pre-Development District); being 121.2121 acres out of the Edward
<br />Burleson Survey, Abstract No. 63 the John R. King Survey, Abstract No.
<br />270, the Henry Warnell Survey, Abstract No, 492; the Will ¡am H, Van
<br />Horn Survey, abstract No. 464, and the Samuel Craft Survey, Abstract
<br />No. H-89 in the City of San Marcos; Hays County, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said pub] IC hearing on said date, said
<br />Commission did, on August 5, 1986, consider said request and
<br />voted to deny the same but recommended that a zoning change to A-R
<br />(Agricultural-Ranch District) be approved by the City Council of

<br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos
<br />pertaining to amendments have been met; and,

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the pub1 ic
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:

<br />SECTION 1. That the following described tract of reai property
<br />located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently
<br />Unzoned henceforth shall be zoned "A-PH (Agricultural-Ranch
