52 RESOLUTION 1986-109R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR SERVICES PURSUANT TO THE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN (WIC), AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND ANY AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS AND INSTRUMENTS INCIDENT THERETO, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, wishes to cont1nue its participation 1n the Special Supplemental Fooa Program for Women, Infants ana Chilaren (WIC) of the Unitea States Department of Agriculture (USDA) which proviaes fooa ana nutritional information to qualifiea participants; ana, WHEREAS, saia City Council .1S w1lling to assume aarninistrat1ve controL of the local program: now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the Agreement Detween the C1ty of San Marcos, Texas, ana the Texas Department of Health for services pursuant to the Special Supplemental Fooa Program for Women, Infants ana Chilaren (WIC) of the Unitea States Department of Agr1culture (USDA), a copy of which is attachea hereto ana incoporated here1n for all intents ana purposes De, ana is hereDY, approvea 1n all respects. PART 2. That the Mayor, J.E. Younger, De, ana he is hereDY, authorizea to execute saia Agreement ana any ana all other aocumen-ts ana 1nstruments inciaent thereto on behalf of saia City. PART 3.
