<br />Section 36. CUSIP NUMBERS. CUSIP numbers may be printed on the Bonds. <br />It is expressly provided, however, that the presence or absence of CUSIP numbers on <br />the Bonds shan be of no significance or effect as regards the legality thereof, and <br />neither the City nor the attorneys approving the Bonds as to legality is to be held <br />responsible for CUSIP numbers incorrectly printed on the Bonds. <br /> <br />Section 37. OFFICIAL STATEMENT. The City approves, ratifies and <br />confirms the form and content of the Preliminary Official Statement dated <br />September 25, 1986 prepared in the initial offering and sale of the Bonds and hereby <br />approves the form and content of any addenda, supplements or amendments thereto <br />issued on behalf of the City. The use of such Official Statement in the reoffering of <br />the Bonds by the Purchaser is hereby approved and authorized. The proper officials <br />of the City are hereby authorized to execute and deliver a certificate pertaining to <br />such Official Statement as prescribed in the Purchase Contract relating to the <br />Bonds described in Section 32 of this Ordinance, dated as of the date of payment for <br />and delivery of the Bonds. <br /> <br />Section 38. PUBLIC MEETING. It is officiany found, determined, and <br />declared that the meeting at which this Ordinance has been adopted was open to the <br />public and public notice of the time place and subject matter of the public business <br />to be considered and acted upon at said meeting, including this Ordinance, as given, <br />all as required by the applicable provisions of Article 6252-17, V.T.C.S., as amended. <br /> <br />Section 39. EMERGENCY DECLARATION. The public importance of this <br />measure and the fact that it is to the interest of the City and its inhabitants to <br />provide funds for the purposes herein contemplated at the earliest possible date for <br />the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety constitute an <br />emergency and an imperative public necessity, requiring that this Ordinance take <br />effect and be in fun force immediately upon its passage; an ordinance and/or <br />Charter rules requiring ordinances to be read on three (3) several days are hereby <br />dispensed with for the purpose of adopting this Ordinance as an emergency <br />ordinance; and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect from and <br />after its final passage as provided by the Charter of said City. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />day of October <br /> <br />, 1986. <br /> <br />(\ <br />\ \ \ ~ <br />\ .,.. f , <br /> <br />""-., ), .
