RESOLUTION 2013 -168R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A 2014 100 FOOT <br />AERIAL FIRE APPARATUS FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FROM <br />METRO FIRE APPARATUS SPECIALISTS, INC. THROUGH THE <br />HOUSTON - GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br />COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM CONTRACT #FS12 -11, <br />CATEGORY FA04, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,104,467.00; AUTHORIZING <br />THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE <br />PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The purchase of a 2014 100 Foot Aerial Fire Apparatus for the Fire <br />Department from Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc. through the Houston - Galveston Area <br />Council of Governments Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract #FS12 -11, Category FA04 in <br />the amount of $1,104,467.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
