<br />57 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1986-l23R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE PERSONNEL MANUAL FOR <br />EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS BY ADDING <br />PROVISIONS RELATING TO SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND AMENDING <br />THE SECTIONS ON CONFIDENTIALITY OF RECORDS AND THE <br />GRIEVANCE PROCESS AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos adopted a <br />revised Personnel Manual for employees of the City of San Marcos on <br />December 17, 1984; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain changes are needed in said Personnel Manual to <br />comply with legal standards and achieve greater clarity in the <br />grievance process, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />IT <br /> <br />RESOLVED <br /> <br />BY <br /> <br />THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> <br />PART 1. That amendments to the San Marcos City Personnel <br />Policies, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein in all <br />respects, are hereby approved, and a copy shall be filed with the City <br />Secretary of said City to be kept in that office as the official copy. <br /> <br />PART 2.
