31 RESOLUTION 1986-139R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXECUTION BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS OF ADDENDUM NUMBER ONE TO THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY AND THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DATED OCTOBER 30, 1986, R~TIFYING THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT AS AMENDED, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council met in emergency session at 7:30 a.m. on October 30, 1986 to approve a correction to Section 5.01 of the purchase agreement between the Lower Colorado River Authority and the City of San Marcos relating to the purchase of the electric distribution system for the City; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor for the City of San Marcos, J.E. Younger, thereafter executed Addendum No.1 to the purchase agreement between the Lower Colorado River Authority and the City of San Marcos, Texas, dated October 30, 1986, in order to carry out the decision of the City Council relating to a correction of Section 5.01 of the Lower Colorado River Authority purchase agreement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the City Council approves Addendum No.1 to the purchase agreement between the Lower Colorado River Authority and the City of San Marcos, Texas, dated October 30, 1986, which is attached hereto as Exhibit No. II All and was executed by the Mayor, J.E. Younger, on behalf of the City of San Marcos, and further ratifies and confirms in all respects' said purchase agreement as amended by Addendum No.1 above. PART 2.
