Council appointed Nancy Moore to fill the vacancy on the Economic Development San Marcos <br />Board. <br />30.Receive a Staff presentation and hold discussion regarding future policy on annexation <br />and management of the City's Extra - Territorial Jurisdiction, and provide direction to <br />Staff. <br />Matt Lewis, Director of Planning and Development Services, provided the presentation to <br />council. Following discussion Council consensus was to move forward with the study on <br />annexation and the management of the City's ETJ, and to bring back the Fiscal Impact Study <br />inclusive of the previously de- annexed area. <br />31.11old discussion regarding the Drought Ordinance, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Tom Taggart, Executive Director of Public Services, led a discussion regarding the current <br />Drought Ordinance. Council consensus was to apply no changes to the Drought Ordinance at this <br />time. <br />32.11old discussion regarding: Residential Contractors License and testing requirements, <br />the use of private inspection services, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Matt Lewis, Director of Planning and Development Services, assisted in a discussion regarding <br />Residential Contract licensing and testing requirements that was requested by Council Member <br />Scott and Council Member Thomaides. Following discussion the Council reached consensus <br />that they were not interested in seeing additional discussions or action on this item. <br />3111old discussion regarding the creation of a Automated School Bus Stop Arm Camera <br />Program Ordinance, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Howard Williams, Chief of Police, provided information to council regarding school bus stop <br />arm cameras. Following discussion the Council reached consensus to move forward with <br />creation of the program via ordinance. <br />34.Question and Answer Session with Press and Public <br />None. <br />35.Adiournment <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member <br />Prewitt, the City Council voted (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the regular meeting of <br />the San Marcos City Council at 9:35 p.m..
