PERFORMANCE STATEMENT Exhibit A CITY OF SAN MARCOS Contractor shall carry out the following activities in the target area identified on the maps in its 1984 Community Development application. Section 1. FLOOD AND DRAINAGE FACILITIES Contractor shall construct approximately seven hundred and sixty linear feet (760') of open drainage channel, three thousand one hundred linear feet (3,100') of an underground drainage channel, and two (2) concrete culverts in the Mi11view Area of San Marcos. Contractor shall carry out all acquisition of needed easements/ rights-Qf-way in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (42 U.S.C. Sec. 4601 et. seq.) and HUD implementing regulations (24 CFR Part 42). This activity shall benefit two thousand eight hundred ten (2,810) persons, of which two thousand three hundred eighty-nine (2,389), or eighty-five percent (85%) are of low to moderate income. Contractor shall utilize the bid/contract process to complete this activity, utilizing Two Hundred Forty-one Thousand Two Hundred Forty and no/100 Dollars ($241,240.00) of contract funds and Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Two Hundred Forty and no/l00 Dollars ($260,240.00) of local funds. Section 2. ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVIC[~ Contractor shall utilize Eleven Thousand and no/l00 Dollars ($11,000.00) of local funds, to pay for all project related engineering services, including preliminary and final design plans and specifications and all interim and final inspections. Section 3. AOMINISTRATIO~ Contractor shall utilize Thirty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($30,000.00) of contract funds to carry out all project administration activities, including the cost associated with the required program compliance and fiscal audit. It is further understood that any costs above this contract amount incurred by Contractor for these activities shall be paid for with local funds. PAGE 1 OF 1
