<br /> absentee clerk's mailing address to which ballot applica- <br /> tions and ballots voted by mail may be sent for said City. <br /> The address of 501 South L.B.J. Drive shall be the absentee <br /> clerk's mailing address to which ballot applications and <br /> ballots voted by mail may be sent for said School District. <br /> Absentee votes shall be delivered to the Canvassing Board at <br /> C.M. Allen Homes at 12:00 noon on April 6, 1985. The <br /> Absentee Voting Canvassing Board shall consist of Pre- <br /> siding Judge Margie Villalpando and Alternate Judge Mary <br /> Ann Till. Absentee votes shall be counted at the central <br /> counting station. The special canvassing board shall per- <br /> form in accordance with the provisions of Articles 1.15 <br /> and 5.05, Texas Election Code. <br /> SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance to the <br />public welfare and for the public good creates an emergency and <br />an imperative public necessity so that the provisions of the <br />Charter requiring that ordinances shall be presented at three <br />separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective <br />until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its <br />final passage be suspended, and these provisions are hereby sus- <br />pended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force <br />and effect from and after its adoption and after its publication <br />in a newspaper of general circulation in the area. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25 day of February , <br />1985. <br /> ~(Q <br /> Emmie craddoc~ <br /> Mayor <br />Attest: <br />D/1~~~ " <br />City Secretary <br />~.~ <br /> C,~~<J <br />~ <br />.
