<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCI L OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />HARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE HAYOR 'IO EXæUTE A
<br />CORRECTION DEED FROM SAID CITY CONVEYING roT FOURTEEN
<br />(14) IN THE WEA1HERFORD SUBDIVISION NO.2, A
<br />SUBDIVISION IDCATED IN SAID CITY, 'IO BILL BJYD¡ AND
<br />DæLARING AN EFFæTIVE DATE..

<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City of san Marcos, Texas, advertised for bids for
<br />the sale of Lot Fourteen (14), in the W:!atherford SUbdivision No.2, a
<br />subdivision in Hays County, Texas, according to the map or plat
<br />thereof, recorded in Volume 132, Page 249 of thelßed Records of Hays
<br />County, Texas, also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 68A-15 in the San
<br />Marcos Record, a local newspaper with a general circulation in the
<br />County of Hays, State of Texas, on March 25, 1984, and March 27, 1984;
<br />and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was submitted by
<br />Bill Boyd for said described property in the amount of Three Thousand
<br />Six Hundred TWenty-Five Dollars ($3,625.00); and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set for said
<br />property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners of the City of San
<br />Marcos, Texas on June 1,1982; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and best
<br />responsible bid for said property on April 4,1984; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Board recommended the approval of said purchase
<br />price and approval of the terms and conditions for said sale, as
<br />contained in the bid document; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on May 30, 1984, the Mayor of said City executed a
<br />Warranty lßed conveying said property to Bill Boyd; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it is necessary that a Correction lßed be executed
<br />conveying said property to Bill Boyd because the recording information
<br />recited in the Warranty lßed for the plat of the subdivision in which
<br />said property is located was incorrect; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 1HE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS;
<br />
<br />SæTION 1. That the Mayor, Eìnrnie Craddock, be and she is
<br />hereby, authorized to execute a Correction lßed to Bill Boyd
<br />conveying IDt Fourteen (14), in the W:!atherford SUbdivision No.2, a
<br />subdivision in Hays County, Texas, according to the map or plat
<br />thereof, recorded in Volume 132, Page 249 of the lßed Records of
<br />Hays County, Texas, also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 68A-15.

<br />SæTION 2. That the Grantee in said Correction lßed is hereby
<br />placed on notice that the subject property is subject to assessment
<br />under the provisions of Article 1105b, Texas Revised Civil Statutes.
<br />
<br />SæTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten days from
<br />and after its passage and after its publication in a newspaper of
<br />general circulation in the area.

<br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading March 11, 1985.
