On roll call of the amendment, the following vote was re- corded: AYE: Coddington, Farr, Younger. NAY: Brown, Guerra. ABSTAIN: Kissler. The motion failed. On roll call for adoption of the Resolution, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Younger, Guerra, Kissler. NAY: Coddington. ABSTAIN: None. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING AS THE VOTING DELEGATE AND AS THE ALTERNATE VOTING DELEGATE FOR SAID CITY AT THE ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING OF THE CONGRESS OF CITIES TO BE HELD DECEMBER 3, 1986, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS AND INSTRUMENTS INCIDENT TO THE PURPOSES HEREOF, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Younger moved for adoption of the Resolution with the inclusion of Betty Jane Kissler as the Voting Delegate and Fred Guerra as the Alternate Voting Delegate, and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO MAKE AN APPLICATION TO THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRA- TION FOR THE ACQUISITION BY SAID CITY OF APPROXIMATELY 37 ACRES OUT OF THE WILLIAM PETTUS SURVEY IN CALDWELL COUNTY, TEXAS AND LYING ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY OF THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT FOR AIRPORT DEVELOP- MENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
