<br /> -2- <br />Sec~ 3-2. Livestock not to run at large.. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any cattle, <br />horses, jacks, jennets, sheep, goats or like animals to run <br />at large within the city or to be upon the premises of any <br />person other than the owner without the permission of the <br />owner or lessee of the property. <br />Sec. 3-3.. Sale, etc., of livestoC)~ upon streets, alleys, <br /> etc.., prohibited.. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or exhibit at a <br />place upon the public square, public street or alley within <br />the city for the purpose of engaging in the business of <br />trading, swapping or selling any livestock such as horses, <br />mules, jacks and jennets except by special permit. <br />See.. 3-4.. Grazing of livestock upon sidewalks, streets, etc.., <br /> prohibited.. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any cattle, <br />horses, jacks, jennets, sheep, goats or like animals to be <br />staked 1.n a manner which will permit such animals to graze <br />upon any sidewalk, street or other public property within the <br />city limits. <br />See.. 3-5.. Livestock pens to be kept clean and sanitary, etc. <br />The pen or pens where any cattle, horses, jacks, jennets, <br />sheep, goats or like animals are confined shall be kept in a <br />clean and sanitary manner at all times and shall be subject <br />to inspection by the health authority, assistant health <br />authority or his/her or their representatives at all times <br />between sunrise and sunset. The droppings or fecal matter <br />from such animals shall be disposed of in a sani tary manner <br />and shall not be placed in any garbage can or other container <br />for removal by the city. <br />Sec. 3-6. Fowl not to run at large: pens or cages to be <br /> sani ta ry, etc.. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person having under his/her <br />control or ownership any chicken, goose, duck, turkey or <br />other fowl to permit the same to run at large. All fowl <br />shall be confined in suitable sanitary pens or cages, which <br />pens or cages shall be subject to inspection by the health <br />authority, assistant health authority or his/her or thei r <br />representatives at any time between sunrise and sunset to <br />determine that the provisions of the section are being <br />complied with. The droppings and/or other fecal matter shall <br />be disposed of in a sanitary manner and shall not be placed <br />in a garbage can or other container for disposal by the city. <br /> ARTICLE II. DOGS <br /> DIVISION 1. GENERALLY <br />Sec. 3-16. Definitions. <br />For the purposes of this division, the following words and <br />phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them <br />by this section: <br />Dangerous dog: Any dog which, after a hearing before a <br />Municipal Court Judge of the City of San Marcos, has been <br />found by such Court to have bitten a person, without <br />provocation, in the city limits. <br />Disturbing: Annoyi ng to the point of interfering \'lith the <br />pu rsui t of "the ordinary course of business or reasonable <br />enjoyment of a residence~ <br />
