Texas Location AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 3-48-019')-02 WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the <iF AA ") has deter mined it to be in the interest of the United States that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of the United States, and the City of San Marcos , (hereinafter referred to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 19 day of NovpmhPT , 19...8á., be amended as hereinafter provided. NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH: That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor. on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that (1) The description of the development included in the project, set forth in the second paragraph on Page 1 of the Grant Agreement, is hereby amended to read, "Construct and mark Taxiway C parallel to Runway 12-30 (approximately 40' X 2,950'); construct and mark connecting Taxiway B (approximately 40' X 439'); lowering of powerline north of Runway 12 (approximately 2,000')" (2) The maximum obligation of the United States, and the amount shown "for development other than land," both on Page 2 of the Grant Agreement, are increased from $176,000.00 to $190,000.00. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to said Grant Agreement to be duly executed as of the 7 day of May , 19-8.5....
