<br /> supplements, or amendments thereto issued on behalf of the city. <br /> The use of such Official statement in the reoffering of the Bonds <br /> by the Purchaser is hereby approved and authorized. The proper <br /> officials of the City are hereby authorized to execute and deliver <br /> a certificate pertaining to such Official statement as prescribed <br /> therein, dated as of the date of payment for and delivery of the <br /> Bonds. <br /> Section 23. PUBLIC MEETING. It is officially found, <br /> determined, and declared that the meeting at which this Ordinance <br /> has been adopted was open to the public and public notice of the <br /> time, place and subject matter of the public business to be <br /> considered and acted upon at said meeting, including this <br /> Ordinance, was given, all as required by the applicable provisions <br /> of Article 6252-17, V.T.C.S., as amended, and Section 54.109, <br /> V.T.C.A. Water Code. <br /> Section 24. EMERGENCY DECLARATION. The public importance of <br /> this measure and the fact that it is to the best interest of the <br /> City to provide funds for the ~roposed improvements at the <br /> earliest possible date, for the ~mmediate preservation of the <br /> public peace, health and safety, constitutes and creates an <br /> emergency and an urgent ~ublic necessity requiring that the <br /> Charter rule requiring ord~nances to be read on three several <br /> days be dispensed with for the purpose of adopting this Ordinance <br /> as an emergency measure¡ and said Charter rule is hereby <br /> dispensed with and this Ordinance is accordingly passed as an <br /> emergency measure, effective and in force immediately upon and <br /> after its passage. ft1 A <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 13th ~~-ðf tJ:unQ,Ý 1985. <br /> ~. -- Ô <br /> ~~ Ú, <br /> !
