<br /> Fair Housing Activities <br /> The City of San Marcos passed a Fair Housing Ordinance on April 26, 1976. <br /> As a result a Fair Housing Commission was established by the City to ac- <br /> cept notification and referral of complaints of alleged discriminatory <br /> Housing practices. <br /> A community Housing Resource Board was established to monitor a voluntary <br /> Fair Housing Marketing Agreement with the local Board of Realtors. <br /> The City has by proclamation proclaimed April as Fair Housing month. <br /> Albert Sierra the City's CDBG - Cordinator serves as secretary to the <br /> Fair Housing Commission and is the chairperson of the community Housing <br /> Resource Board. The City of San Marcos assures that it will affirmatively <br /> further fair housing in subsequent years. <br />
