<br /> 5 <br /> ORDINANCE 1985-80 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ADOPTING A NEW <br /> CHAPTER 35, COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT <br /> CODE, TO BE ADDED TO THE CODE OF <br /> ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY; PROVIDING FOR <br /> THE FORMATION OF PLANNED DEVELOPMENT <br /> DISTRICTS (PDD's) IN SAID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING STANDARDS AND CRITERIA; <br /> PROVIDING FOR BUFFERYARDS; ESTABLISHING <br /> PROCEDURES; PROVIDING FOR GENERAL BENEFIT <br /> FEATURES; SETTING FORTH BONUS PROVISIONS; <br /> PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT WITH OTHER <br /> ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, desires to adopt an ordinance to consolidate the <br /> zoning district and subdivision standards, requirements and <br /> procedures of said City which require review of a site plan <br /> and/or establish performance standards; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines <br /> tht the adoption of such an ordinance is in the interest of <br /> the public health, safety, and welfare; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1.
