6 ORDINANCE 1985-81 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX A, GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO ADD THERETO A SECTION 34A, ADOPTING ARTICLE I, PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, OF CHAPTER 35 OF SAID CODE, AS PART OF SAID APPENDIX A; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereby finds and determines that it is in the interest of the public health, safety and welfare to adopt the following ordinance; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Appendix ~, General Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to add thereto a Section 34A which shall read as follows: Appendix .~ General Zoning Ordinance . . . Section 34A. Planned Development District (PDD). Article I, Planned Development District, of Chapter 35 of the Code of Ordinances, is adopted herein as part of the General Zoning Ordinance as to any and all aspects that relate to zoning and to the regulations of use and location of land and buildings within the City limits of the City of San Marcos. . . . SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
