<br />The major problems include the age and condition of traffic
<br />signals, routing of traffic, narrow street widths, lack of
<br />parking spaces, and deteriorated surfaces.
<br />2. What are the major problems of city utilities in the central business district?
<br />Water and wastewater mains have served past their useful
<br />life and are continually in need of repair. This applies
<br />to related equipment, such as fire hydrants, water valves,
<br />etc. In addition to this, most of the mains are of in-
<br />sufficient size for the demand.
