Hopkins Street
San Marcos, Texas 78666
Dear Mayor,
It is my understanding that the City of San Marcos is applying
for the Official Main Street City designation, While we have made
some strides in the Downtown area, I do not feel we are going to see
the dramatic changes evident in other Main Street cities until we
get the official designation.
As a Director of the Downtown Neighborhood Association, President
of the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, and as a resident and merchant
on the square, I would whole-heartedly support the Main Street Project,
How exciting it would be to be a Main Street City and a Sesquicentennial
City in the same year.
Sincerely,
~ þ.#wILVU
Bill Plummer
