<br /> 42 <br /> RESOLUTION 1985-67R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE 'rERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY <br /> AND rrHE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR <br /> SERVICES PURSUANT TO THE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL <br /> FOOD PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN <br /> (WIC) ¡ AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO <br /> EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND ANY AND ALL OTHER <br /> DOCUMENTS AND INSTRUMENTS INCIDENT THERETO¡ <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br /> wishes to continue its participation in the Special Supplemental <br /> Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) of the United <br /> States Department of Agriculture (USDA) which provides food and <br /> nutritional information to qualified participants; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council is will to assume <br /> administrative control of the local program¡ now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'rY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the Agreement between the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, and the Texas Departmen-t of Health for services pursuant <br /> to the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and <br /> Children (WI C) of the United States Department of Agriculture <br /> (USDA), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein for all intents and purposes be, and is hereby, approved <br /> in all respects. <br /> PART 2. That the Mayor, Emmie Craddock, be, and she is <br /> hereby, authorized to execute said Agreement and any and all <br /> other documents and instruments incident thereto on behal f of <br /> said City. <br /> PART 3.
