58 RESOLUTION 1985-71R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT NO. 14-16-0002-85-219 WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE FOR THE PROVISION BY SAID CITY OF SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROMOTION OF RECOVERY MANAGEMENT OF FOUR LISTED SPECIES IN THE SAN MARCOS RIVER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT AND fu~Y AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS AND INSTRUMENTS INCIDENT Ira THE PURPOSES THEREOF; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. I,^lHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to enter into a contract with the United States Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service for the provision by said City of services in connection with the promotion of recovery management of four listed species in the San Marcos River; and, WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that said contract is in the interest and welfare of the citizens of San Marcos, Texas; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the terms and conditions of that proposed contract no. 14-16-0002-85-219 between said City and the United States Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service for the provision by said City of services in connection with the promotion of recovery management of four listed species in the San Marcos River, a copy of said contract being attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, are hereby in all things approved. PART 2. That the City Manager of said City is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of San Marcos, Texas and any and all other documents and instruments incident to the purposes thereof.
