<br /> Letter Agreement <br /> with Melissa Millecam <br /> Dated October 1, 1985 <br /> Page 2 <br /> 1.6 Arrange photo and feature opportunities <br /> for media. <br /> 1.7 Provide editing assistance for press <br /> releases prepared by city staff. <br /> GOAL II: To assist the City in accomplishing its <br /> programs by generating public support and <br /> understanding. <br /> ACTIVITIES: <br /> 2.1 Establish publicity program for city <br /> boards and commissions to promote <br /> understanding of their activities and to <br /> acknowledge the volunteer service of <br /> citizens. <br /> 2.2 Produce brochures to explain such <br /> programs as bond issues and annual city <br /> budget. <br /> 2.3 Provide media representatives with <br /> information about specific issues. <br /> GOAL III: To improve staff morale. <br /> ACTIVITIES: <br /> 3.1 Publicize promotions, honors and special <br /> activities of the staff. <br /> 3.2 Work with city Council and staff to <br /> establish public recognition program for <br /> city staff or members of City boards and <br /> commissions. <br /> 3.3 Produce special features on City <br /> departments and issue progress reports <br /> for publication about City programs. <br /> GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> 4.1 Contractor is directly responsible to <br /> City Manager. <br /> 4.2 priorities for activities and work <br /> assignments will be periodically reviewed <br /> by the City Manager and re-directed in <br /> his discretion. <br />
