He has been <br /> involved in various water, wastewater and service <br /> center projects. Typical responsibilities have <br /> included structural design, equipment selection, <br /> and cost estimating. <br /> Mr. Cherry has completed several centers in- <br /> eluding a very demanding structural design for the <br /> Dallas Heavy Equipment Maintenance Facility. <br /> He is a registered professional engineer in <br /> the state of Texas and a member of ACI and ASCE. He <br /> joined Black & Veatch in 1979. <br /> @) <br /> HAROLD J. GIBSON ~ <br /> MECHANICAL ENGINEER <br /> @) ~ <br /> OR <br /> Mr. Gibson is head of the mechanical depart- ~ ~ <br /> ment of the Dallas office of Black & Veatch. He @) @ @) ~ <br /> had over twelve years mechanical engineering ~~ ~ <br /> experience in thé heating, ventilating, and air- ~~~ (9§ <br /> conditioning field, prior to joining the firm. @ <br /> His emphasis on energy conservation has led to ~~ ~ <br /> designs such as a passive solar space heating ~@~ ~ <br /> system utilizing clerestory windows with insulated ~ <br /> @)~@ <br /> dampers. <br /> ~~~ ~ <br /> He has designed systems for municipal service <br /> centers which include HVAC systems, active and R @ ~ <br /> passive solar heating sys t.ems, plumbing systems, ($\§ OR ~ @ <br /> storm water and sewage ejection systems, compressed ~~ @) <br /> air and vacuum systems and fire protection systems. @ \)~ ~ <br /> He is a registered professional engineer in @) ~ @í22 @ <br /> Louisiana and Texas and a member of Tau Beta Pi, Pi ~~(9;§ ~ <br /> Tau Sigma and ASHRAE.
