C. &0..0 Page I of Pages Contract No. DOT FA 84 SW-8024 San Marcos Municipal Airport San Marcos, Texas Location AMENDMENT NO.1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 3-48-0195-01 WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "FAA") has deter- mined it to be in the interest of the United States that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of the United States, and the City of S::¡n M,qr('()<;:, '1'py,q" , (hereinafter referred to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 24 day of September , 19ß1L, be amended as hereinafter provided. NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH: That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that The maximum obligation of the United States, set forth on Page 2 of the Grant Agreement is increased from $144,900.00 to $167,281.15. The amount "for development other than land" is increased from $86,400.00 to $93,255.19 and the amount "for land acquisition" in the same sentence is increased from $58,500.00 to $74,025.96.
