<br />45 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />November 24, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced a discussion by the Engineering <br />Department regarding the establishment of a Citizens Storm <br />Drainage Advisory Board. Steve Jenkins reviewed with Council his <br />memorandum dated November 12, 1986 stating the need for such a <br />Board and the proposed goals and objectives of the Board, a copy <br />of said memorandum attached to these minutes. It was consensus <br />of the Council that a Board of seven members be established with <br />geographic distribution on a temporary basis. A Resolution <br />creating the Board will be presented to the Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Coddington moved the Council adjourn into Executive <br />Session pursuant to Article 6252-l7, Sections 2(e), (f) and <br />(g), V.A.C.S., to discuss contemplated litigation, matters where <br />the duties of the City Attorney to the City pursuant to the Code <br />of Professional Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly <br />conflicts with Article 6252-17; purchase and lease of real <br />property; duties of a public officer or employee and complaints <br />or charges against a public officer or employee, respectively, <br />and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (10:38 <br />p.m.). <br /> <br />Mr. Brown moved the Council reconvene at 12:00 a.m. and Mr. <br />Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 12:02 a.m. on motion made by Ms. <br />and seconded by Mr. COddingt(~",~.,,',.... .,\. . <br /> <br /> <br />-"'.. ~/\-~- <br />~ Younger <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Ii f~](!. ~W Fred Guerra <br />l-//CO~:~c !
