<br />26 <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1985-100 <br /> <br />~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />~ CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, At'\1EtJDING <br />SECTION 29-132, SPEED LIMITS FOR CERTAIN <br />STREETS AND HIGHWAYS, OF ARTICLE VI, <br />SPEED REGULATIONS, OF CHAPTER 29 OF THE <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO <br />PROVIDE THA'r frHF~ SPEED LIMIT AT ALL TIMES <br />UPON ALL PORTIONS OF EAST SIERRA CIRCLE <br />AND WEST SIERRA CIRCLE SHALL BE 20 MILES <br />PER HOURi AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the <br />following ordinance is in the interest of the public safetYI <br />health and welfare¡ now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. 'rhat Section 29-132 of Article VI of <br />Chapter 29 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San <br />Marcos is hereby amended to add the following two (2) streets <br />in proper alphabetical sequence upon which the speed limit <br />shall be 20 miles per hour: <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI. SPEED REGULATIONS <br /> <br /> <br />. . . <br /> <br /> <br />Sec. 29-132. Speed limits for certain streets and <br />highways. <br /> <br /> <br />. . <br /> <br /> <br />East Sierra Circle--the entire length--20 m.p.h. <br />West Sierra Circle--the entire length--20 m.p.h. <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
