<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING
<br /> THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CORRECTION DEED
<br /> FROM SAID CITY CONVEYING A PART OF LOTS
<br /> NUMBERS SEVEN (7) &1'{D EIGH'r (8) IN BLOCK
<br /> NUMBER SEVEN ( 7) OF THE D.S. COMBS
<br /> ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS, TO LUCY G. BADILLO, TRUSTEE FOR
<br /> TERESA ANN GUERRA, TRICIA MAE GUERRA, AND
<br /> TINA MARIE GUERRA; AND DECLARING AN
<br /> EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for bids
<br />for the sale of part of Lots Seven (7) and Eight (8) in Block
<br />Seven (7) of the D.S. Combs Addition to the City of San Marcos,
<br />in Hays County, Texas, also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No.
<br />35A-13, in the San Marcos Record, a local newspaper with a
<br />general circulation in the County of Hays, State of Texas, on
<br />September 11, 1983, and September 13, 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was submitted
<br />by Lucy G. Badillo for said described property in the amount of
<br />Four Thousand and One Dollars ($4,001.00); and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set for
<br />said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners of the
<br />City of San Marcos, Texas, on September 8, 1983: and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br />best responsible bid for said property on September 16, 1983;
<br />and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board recommended the approval of said
<br />purchase price and the approval of the terms and conditions for
<br />said sale, as contained in the bid document; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, on January 9, 1984, the Mayor of said City
<br />executed a Warranty Deed conveying said property to Lucy G.
<br />Badillo: and,
<br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that a Correction Deed be executed
<br />conveying said property to Lucy G. Badillo, Trustee for Teresa
<br />Ann Guerra, Tricia Mae Guerra and Tina Marie Guerra: now,
<br />therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the Mayor, Emmie Craddock, be, and she
<br />is hereby, authorized to execute a Correction Deed to Lucy G.
<br />Badillo, Trustee for Teresa Ann Guerra, Tricia Mae Guerra and
<br />Tina Marie Guerra, conveying a part of Lots Seven (7) and Eight
<br />(8) in Block Seven (7) of the D.S. Combs Addition to the City of
<br />San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, according to the plat thereof
<br />recorded in Volume 42, Page 332, Hays County Deed Records, which
<br />said portion of said lots is more particularly described by
<br />metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:
<br /> Parts of Lots Numbers Seven (7) and Eight (8), in Block
<br /> Number Seven (7) of the D.S. Combs Addition to said city
<br /> according to plat of said addition recorded in Volume
<br /> 42, Page 332 of the Hays County Deed Records and the
<br /> property conveyed hereby is described by metes and
<br /> bounds as follows:
<br /> BEGINNING at the most eastern corner of said Lot Number
<br /> Eight (8) in said Block Number Seven (7);
<br /> THENCE North 45 degrees West with the northeast line of
<br /> said Lot Number Eight (8), 50 feet for corner;
