EXHIBIT 1 PAGE 2 *********** FIELD NOTES *********** A parcel of land containing 0.5975 acre (26,026 square feet) out of the William Pettus Survey, Caldwell County, Texas, and lying wholly within the San Marcos Airport; this parcel is shown on a plat of a survey dated 17 September 1985 by Charles R. Swart, Surveyor, and is more particularly described by metes and bounds in the following paragraphs. The aluminum capped iron monument cited is a 5/8 inch diameter iron bar, 24 inches long, with a 1 1/2 inch diameter aluminum cap marked GT + 3 1985 CHARLES R. SWART SURVEYOR Bearings are based on the centerline bearing of State Highway 21 as shown on the right of way map of the Texas Highway Department dated 27 March 1937, as the centerline was found marked on the ground between stations 129 + 53 and 158 + 10. The point ci ted as the West Reference Mark is a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole near the west end of the concrete parking ramp, and 9.5 feet north of the south edge of the ramp. The point cited as the East Reference Mark is a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole in the concrete parking ramp opposi te the east legs of the old control tower, and 9.5 feet from the south edge of the ramp. From the West Reference Mark, the East Reference Mark bears South 89 degrees 58 minutes 34 seconds East a distance of 1505.44 feet. Beginning at the northeast corner of this parcel, which is marked with a 1/2 inch diameter iron bar found in place, and from which the West Reference Mark (point 50) bears North 85 degrees 48 minutes 26 seconds West a distance of 132.06 feet, the East Reference Mark bears North 89 degrees 37 minutes 25 seconds East a distance of 1373.77 feet, and the intersection of the centerlines of runways 4 and 12 (point 204) bears North 32 degrees 06 minutes 37 seconds East a distance of 3372.25 feet. Thence, from the point of beginning, South 00 degrees 02.2 minutes West a distance of 216.48 feet to the southeast corner of this parcel, which is marked with a 1/2 inch diameter iron bar found in place; thence North 89 degrees 30.0 minutes West a distance of 120.45 feet to the southwest corner of this parcel, which is marked with an aluminum capped iron monument (point 118); thence North 00 degrees 01.4 minutes East a distance of 215.58 feet to the northwest corner of this parcel, which is on the edge of the concrete parking ramp, and from which a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole in the concrete parking ramp bears North 00 degrees 01.4 minutes East. a distance of 2.00 feet as a witness mark; thence South 89 degrees 55.7 minutes East along the south edge of the concrete parking ramp a distance of 120.50 feet to the point of beginning. *********** STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS I, CHARLES R.
