<br /> 39 <br /> THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> COUNTY OF HA YS <br /> INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> AND HA YS COUNTY, TEXAS <br /> KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> That the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation under the laws <br /> of the State of Texas, acting by and through the authority conferred on its Mayor, <br /> Emmie Craddock, by Resolution - , adopted October 14, 1985 , <br /> , hereinafter referred to as "City" and the County of Hays, Texas, <br /> hereinafter referred to as "County" hereby enter into this agreement for the mutual <br /> benefit of the parties and pursuant to the following terms and provisions: <br /> I. <br /> This agreement for the performance of governmental functions and services is <br /> entered into pursuant to authority granted by the Texas Interlocal Cooperation Act, <br /> Article 4413 (32c), Texas Revised Civil Statutes. <br /> II. <br /> The purpose of this agreement is the enforcement by City of regulations as to park- <br /> ing of vehicles on property owned by County. <br /> III. <br /> This agreement shall remain in effect until terminated in accordance with para- <br /> graph VIII, be low. <br /> IV. <br /> It is expressly agreed that City will install, replace, repair or otherwise make us- <br /> able forty-nine (49) meters on real property owned by Hays County, Texas, on which is <br /> located the Hays County Courthouse. The purpose of the meters is to limit the time a <br /> vehicle may remain parked in a specific space on the real property. Any expenses in- <br /> curred in installation, replacement or repair shall be the responsibility of City. <br />
