<br />68 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />December 8, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br />A PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES BETWEEN <br />SAID CITY AND PRO-TECH ENGINEERING GROUP, INCORPORATED, <br />IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE WOODS WATER <br />PLANT PROJECT, AUTHORIZING THE ~ßYOR TO EXECUTE SAID <br />CONTRACT AND ANY AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS AND INSTRUMENTS <br />INCIDENT THERETO, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Coddington <br />seconded the motion. Mr. Brown moved to amend the Resolution on Page <br />3 of the Agreement in Section 1.3.3. to delete the period <br />at the end of the sentence and add the following: "... by providing <br />the necessary sets of plans and information to the Owner and executing <br />any forms or letters required by regulatory agencies to be executed by <br />Owner's Engineer," and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of the <br />Resolution. . <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />rvlARCOS, TEXAS, .~UTHORIZING LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUThOR- <br />ITY TO PAY INTEREST SUMS WHICH HAVE ACCRUED ANNUALLY <br />FROM SECURITY DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS TO THE DEPOSITORS OF <br />SAID ACCOUNTS BY CREDITING THE DECEMBER 1986 BILLS <br />ISSUED TO SAID DEPOSITORS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Parr moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Brown seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING FREE PARKING IN METERED <br />PARKING STALLS IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT FROM <br />WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 1986 THROUGH SUNDAY, JANUARY <br />4, 1987, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Coddington <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration award of bid on the bulk <br />fuel (gasoline and diesel). Mr. Farr moved to award bid to Lackey & <br />Sons, Inc. of San Marcos, Texas as follows: 39 cents per gallon for <br />#2 diesel, 44 cents per gallon for regular leaded gasoline, and 49 cents <br />per gallon for super unleaded gasoline, and Mayor Younger seconded the <br />motion. Mr. Hankins advised the Council these prices will fluctuate. <br />The Council voted unanimously for award to Lackey. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration authorization to bid Alto <br />and Midway Streets eight-inch waterline. Mr. Coddington moved to <br />authorize bidding and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br />
